Church Beliefs
The Bible - We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the inspired Word of God, authoritative, and without
error. We further believe that the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments are designed for
practical and spiritual instruction and guidance in developing a believer into faith and maturity. (II
Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:21)

God the Father - We believe that God the Father’s placed His Spirit over the earth to govern man’s
actions (Genesis 1:1). We believe that God the Father placed His Spirit into His Son Jesus Christ as a
demonstration of receiving His Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16). We believe that God the Father placed
everything under the feet of Christ Jesus, making everything subjected to Christ (Luke 20:43), except
God himself (1 Corinthians 15:27).  We believe that Christ sits on God’s throne at His right hand
(Luke 22:69).  We believe that God the Father created a throne for Christ so he can govern and He
made us subject to the throne of the Lamb of God (Revelation 3:21)

God the Son - We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, came into the world to
save those who are lost, and to fulfill prophecy and become the Redeemer of souls. To this end, he
was born of the Virgin Mary, received a human body and maintained a sinless nature without ceasing
to be Lord God. (Luke 1:30-35; John 1:1;14:18; Hebrews 4:15; Philippians 2:5-11) We believe in his
infinite love for the lost. He voluntarily accepted his Father’s will and became the sacrificial Lamb that
took away the sins of the world. (Romans 3:25-36; II Corinthians 5:15; Hebrews 10:5-14) We believe
he arose from the dead into glory, and that his resurrected body is the symbol that gives all believers
confidence in the promises of God. (John 20:20; Philippians 3:20-21) We believe that he became head
over all things in the church, which is his body, and in his ministry he is our advocate to God the
Father and intercedes on our behalf. (Luke 1:35; Ephesians 1:22; Philippians 2:611; I Timothy 2:5; I
John 2:1-2)

God’s Spirit - We believe that the God’s Spirit dwells in every believer immediately after he places his
faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, confess their sins, repented of their sins, confess that Jesus is Lord, and
they are baptized. (Romans 5:5; Acts 2:38) We believe that every believer receives grace from Christ
to allow the new believer time to learn to overcome sin.(Colossians 1:6) We believe the Holy Spirit
imparts spiritual gifts, which enables us to achieve what God created us to do as part of His master
plan. (Romans12: 6; I Corinthians 12:7; Ephesians 4:7)

Satan - We believe that Satan, the devil, is the prince of demons and is the declared adversary of God
and man. That Christ Jesus put to death the power of Satan. Through his resurrection, Christ Jesus
made a way for us to be free and live a life of salvation, free from Satan’s control. (Ephesians 2:2;
Revelation 20:10; Colossians 2:13-15; Ephesians 4:26)

Salvation - We believe that no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born again
spiritually, and that this new birth comes by surrendering ourselves and having complete faith in the
Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We believe also, that our redemption has been obtained by the
blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and that this redemption is by the grace of God, an unmerited gift,
given in love by God and not the result of human works. (John 3:7-18; II Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 3:
13; Romans 4:4-5) We believe the completion of our salvation comes from us enduring until the end
(Revelation 14:12; James 1:12; Mark 13:13).

The Church - We believe that all who are united to the risen and ascended Son of God are members
of the Church, which is the body of Christ. (I Corinthians 12:12-27; Acts 2:42-47) We believe that
each Church represent a part of the Body of Christ, each being members of the same body with
different functions.  We believe in fellowshipping together for practical and spiritual instruction and
guidance in the Scriptures across the Body of Christ. To praise and worship together in fellowship, to
give God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ all the glory. Our common goal is to grow into the
likeness of Christ, and to mature in our spiritual walk on this earth. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:42-47;
Romans 12:5; Ephesians 4:13-16)

Christ’s Return - We believe that a future period of great tribulation on earth is coming. That Jesus
Christ has gone to prepare a place for those who put their trust in him and God the Father. We who
continue until the end will be able to walk in confidence at the time of tribulation and judgment (1 John
4:17). We believe that Christ is returning to institute final judgment on this world, and on those who
continue to live in sin – destruction, and reward those who have overcome and believe – into
everlasting life.  (I Thessalonians 4:13-17; Revelation 3:10)

The Eternal State - We believe that at death the spirit and soul of those who have trusted in the Lord
Jesus Christ for salvation enters into God’s rest and remain in conscious bliss until Christ comes for his
own. At that time our spiritual spirit will be given a spiritual body and live with Christ forever in glory. (
1 Corinthians 15:44;II Corinthians 5:8; Revelation 20:11-15)

Christian Conduct - We believe that all believers should seek to walk by the Spirit, separating
themselves from worldly practices and sin. (Romans 12:1-2; Galatians 5:16) We believe that all
believers will be judged at the judgment seat of Christ and be rewarded based on their faithful
obedience to him in this life. (II Corinthians 5:9-17)
